SIOUX CITY, IA — A young girl from Sioux City is already making a difference in the lives of others. 9-year-old Reagan Milton set herself a goal of raising a thousand dollars for the June E. Nylen Cancer Center at her lemonade and cookie stand this summer. Many, many cups of lemonade and cookies later, she raised that and more. This Wednesday, she presented the Cancer Center with a check for 17-hundred dollars. Reagan says she had a simple motivation for her fundraiser, "I saw that a lot of people were getting cancer and I wanted to help raise money to find a cure for it." The Cancer Center says the donation will help fund several programs, including patient assistance, community screenings, and research for a cure.
