Deloit Murder Defendant Pleads Guilty to Lesser Charges

One of the defendants from last month's double homicide in Deloit, Iowa is pleading guilty to lesser charges.

Thursday morning, 36-year-old Erika Haberberger-Dains pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree burglary and one count of accessory after the fact in Crawford County District Court.

As part of her plea deal, charges of first degree murder and first degree arson were dismissed.

She could be in prison for up to 12 years: ten for the burglary charge, and two for the accessory charge.

Her sentencing date has yet to be determined.
