      Dog Days of Finals Week

Briar Cliff students got a fuzzy break from studying for finals today. Canine Stars were in the library for students to pet and cuddle. The dogs are certified therapy dogs and also go to local hospitals and nursing homes.Staff set up the event and say it's a good opportunity to get students into the library. They also said that it is mutually beneficial, since students can increase their test scores just by showing up."Studies have shown that if you take a moment away from studying to reset your brain and think you're more likely to do well on your test," said Julius Fleschner, Director of Library and Information ServicesStudents could also enjoy juice and cookies at the event.
