Executive Director of Siouxland Center for Active Generations Retires

A man who's overseen the growth of the Siouxland Center for Active Generations is retiring.
Wednesday afternoon they held a party for Jeff Loffswold, who's seen the Center grow to more than 1,500 members.

His successor as Executive Director is Kerry Ruehle, who's been the Activities Director.

Loffswold started at the Center in 1991, and has seen it grow from cramped quarters at Third and Pierce, to the former Hy-Vee store on Cook Street.

Siouxland News' own Larry Wentz had this to say, "I've had the pleasure of working with Jeff and Kerry during my years in Sioux City, both of them are class act people. To Jeff we say, "Thanks for all you've done." To Kerry we say, "congratulations and best of luck."
