Loved Ones Say Final Goodbyes to Deloit Homicide Victims

Family and friends are preparing to say their final goodbyes to the victims of Monday's double homicide in a mobile home near Deloit in western Iowa.

Thursday, loved ones were at the scene of the crime for the first time, but declined to speak with the media.

Also Thursday authorities announced they had arrested three people for the deaths of 80-year-old Marvin Huelsing and 81-year-old Alice Huisenga.

Suspects 19-year-old Jayden Chapman; 26-year-old Michael Schenk; and 36-year-old Erika Haberberger- Dains, all of Denison, have been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree arson.

Bond has been set at $500,000 for each of them.

A funeral service for Huelsling will be held Monday at 10:30a.m. at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Carroll, IA.

Huisenga will be laid to rest in a private ceremony Saturday afternoon, following a service at Wheatland Presbyterian Church near Breda, IA.
