Sioux City — Some Siouxland golfers are spending a long day on the links today. The Sioux City Country Club is playing host to a Hundred Hole Hike, a golf marathon to support the Siouxland Youth Golf Association's First Tee program. Two of the Country Club's golf pros had the idea to play 100 holes of golf in a single day, without a cart, to help raise money for young golfers in Siouxland.
"We just raise money for the First Tee Program. We've done great so far, great support with the members and the community. I think we're close to 7000 now." said Justin Thiele, a golf pro at Sioux City Country Club. Golfers from the first tee program joined the two pros on their hundred hole hike for a couple hours this afternoon.
