SIOUX CITY, IA — While the Argosy Casino has been ordered to close by state regulators by July first, construction of the new Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is moving full-steam ahead for its opening in mid to late summer."Construction process is going great. We have a ton of different team members over there working on construction, about 300 guys right now. A lot of different trades are in the building doing some of the finishing work," said Hard Rock General Manager Todd Moyer. With no grand opening date officially released, the next step is a job training facility."Next up is a dealer school which is part of that facility," said Moyer. "We invite people to come out. If you just want to see what it's like to be a dealer, we have some informational sessions you can come to."Dealing can be a lot of fun and that's one reason the Hard Rock is encouraging people to apply."If you want to be the life of the party, kind of control the action and be the center of attention then the dealer spot might be right for you," Moyer said. "So come on out and check it out."Applicants can fill out the paperwork online and are should do so as soon as possible.Moyer urges those seeking employment to go online and act now. You don't need to apply in person. The new Hard Rock has already received over fifteen-hundred applications and will only be hiring five-hundred and twelve more employees.
