Historic Morningside Home Removed From Red-Tag List
SIOUX CITY, IA — The fate of an historic Morningside home was debated Monday afternoon.The City Council voted Monday afternoon on whether or not to lift a red tag on the Dutton House on Glenn Avenue.That house has been red-tagged since a 2011 fire gutted it. Since then, the house has been sold twice, with the current owners promising to make repairs.Monday's vote came after discussion on the owner's progress with the renovations. The council did eventually vote to approve removing the house from the red-tag list.
