This Saturday, the Iowa Hawkeyes will host its annual spring game at Kinnick Stadium. For a team looking to improve on its 8-5 record a year ago, this is the last chance to make changes before fall camp. This offseason, the team has moved to a more up-tempo offense, and a big part of that, starts with the offensive line. "It starts with us," said Brandon Scherff, senior offensive lineman and Denison, Iowa native. "The offense goes as we go and our goal, if we get into the redzone is to get seven points instead of three, because four points is a big difference and that's what our goal is.We have some great guys at receiver for us. We've had some longer catches like in Des Moines. During practice we see that all the time. We're looking forward to it and we just have to keep improving." The Black and Gold game is set for 2PM this Saturday at Kinnick Stadium.Admission is free, but fans are asked to bring non-perishable foods.Gates open at one and if you can't make it, you can stream the game live on BTN dot com.
