Lemonade Days Fundraiser Ends With a Pary
SIOUX CITY, IA — Siouxland kids are helping raise some of the money needed to build a new museum dedicated to their age group. Today a "Lemonade Days Drop Off Party" was held at Security National Bank in downtown Sioux City. During the month of June, kids have been manning their own lemonade stands to raise money for the new Children's Museum of Siouxland. More than $1500 was collected today from the kid philanthropists. "This shows that there's a lot of support for this Children's Museum. And it's fantastic they took some time out of the month of June to come down and support this Children's Museum," said Children's Museum Board Member John Koupal with Security National Bank.
Those who could not attend can mail their checks to: Children's Museum of Siouxland, P.O. Box 833, Sioux City, IA 51102Construction work on the new museum is scheduled to start later this summer.
