Memorial Funds for Families of Falls Park Victims

(SOUTH DAKOTA) Siouxland is mourning the deaths of two people who jumped into the Big Sioux River at Falls Park in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to save a 6-year-old boy. Rescue crews recovered the body of 28-year-old Lyle Eagle Tail from Sioux Falls on Saturday afternoon. They pulled out the body of 16-year-old Madison Wallace from Vermillion about 24 hours earlier. Lyle and Madison both jumped in the water to save Madison's little brother Garrett on Thursday.

The Wallaces have set up a website in memory of their daughter. If you'd like to help the family, you can donate to the "Madison Wallace Family Fund" at any Wells Fargo branch. A funeral is set for Tuesday in Vermillion with a viewing from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and services following. Lyle Eagle Tail was remembered this weekend at a special honoring. There's a fund set up to help his family as well. You can donate to the "Lyle Eagle Tail Benefit Memorial Fund" at any Wells Fargo branch.
