Murder Charge for Suspect in South Sioux City Shooting

A week-long investigation into the killing of a South Sioux City woman has led to murder charges.

22-year-old Raymond Gonzalez has been charged with first degree murder, in addition to making terroristic threats and disturbing the peace.

Police found 28-year-old Bonnie Baker dead from an apparent gunshot wound Sunday afternoon at a home in the Siouxland Estates Mobile Home Park.

Two other men, 25-year-old David Rodriguez and 26-year-old Anthony Housman, have also been arrested in connection with the case.

So far, Rodriguez is charged with Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person.

Housman is charged with Possession of a Stolen Firearm.

Gonzalez is expected to be in court for his initial appearance Monday afternoon.
