Murder suspect, 28-year-old Joshua Charles Hudson, is now behind bars.
Police think he murdered his uncle at around 7:30 Friday morning in Yankton, South Dakota, near East 8th and Peninah Streets.
"This is an isolated incident, I would suspect that there was a rub between this uncle and nephew," said Yankton Police Chief Brian Paulsen. "It seems like any time it's family related there's something in the background, so this isn't something that people need to be fearful of."
Later in the morning, Hudson ran to Sioux City.
Police caught up with his 2002 Dodge Ram on Wesley Way.
Then, driving as fast as of 100 miles per hour, he led police up Hamilton Boulevard, Stone Park Boulevard, Broken Kettle Road and Highway K-18.
The chase took police through Plymouth County and into South Dakota, before they used stop sticks.
That's when Joshua Hudson drove into a field and was arrested.
As of now, it's unknown what charges will be filed against Joshua Hudson.
