It's called "Touched by the Sun" by Michael Dunbar.
It'll be a fourteen foot tall bronze sculpture that'll sit on the front lawn, but it won't be in town until later this summer.
In the meantime you can check out a miniature model.
The sculpture was picked because of its precision work and unique look.
"If you can project in your mind right now this standing out in front of the Art Center, you're going to see a relationship to this sculpture and the atrium in which we're standing right now," said Sioux City Art Center Curator Todd Behrens.
There'll be a free reception at the Art Center July 13th starting at 5:00 O'clock.
On that same day, you'll be able to check out a whole exhibition of Michael Dunbar's work at the Art Center.
