Siouxland Counties Refusing to Jail Undocumented Immigrants
SIOUXLAND — Three Siouxland counties are refusing to jail undocumented immigrants without an arrest warrant.Ida, Monona and Sioux Counties are part of a group of 22 Iowa counties that will now require a warrant signed by a judge before holding people in county jails.The ACLU of Iowa says the group includes some of Iowa's most highly-populated counties, such as Polk, Linn, Dubuque and Pottawattamie.
