Sony, Carmike Team Up to Offer Vets Free Movie on July 4

Veterans are among those being honored this Fourth of July by a local movie theater.

Carmike Cinemas in the Southern Hills Mall, along with Sony Pictures, is giving vets and active duty personnel two free passes to see the new film "White House Down."

Sony has partnered with four of the nation's biggest movie chains to make this gift possible.

"Little things like this, you know, where it kind of stretches your dollar a little bit. Those feel good for us. I've seen a lot of Veterans today and wished them well," said veteran Marty Morris.
