State Sen. Rick Bertrand Recovering from Stroke
SIOUX CITY, IA —
A local state senator is recovering after suffering a stroke this weekend.
Republican Rick Bertrand of Sioux City had a mild stroke Saturday and is expected to have no lasting effects.
Bertrand has been recovering in the hospital.
The 44 year old is a commercial developer who may best be known for his work on Pearl Street, developing McCarthy and Bailey's Irish Pub, The Big Snug, and The Blue Ribbon Tap.
