White Tiger Martial Arts Students to Compete in Junior Olympics Tae-Kwan-Do Event
SIOUX CITY, IA — A group of Siouxland martial artists will be showing their stuff this weekend. A group from White Tiger Martial Arts in Sioux City will be heading to Des Moines to compete in the Junior Olympics tae-kwon-do event. Other White Tiger students won several gold medals at an event last weekend. "Some of our kids were only in Martial Arts for six months, just yellows and oranges, and they were still able to go an compete on a national and international level," said Head Coach Mike Donahoo. "It feels amazing because it's, for most of us, it's a one and a life time opportunity to be, actually to be able to go to these tournament and to be come back and place and be recognized for it, it feels amazing," said White Tiger Martial Arts student Samantha Herbert.
