Just a few years ago it faced the wrecking ball. Now one of the most historic buildings in downtown Sioux City is getting another boost.
German born August Williges opened a fur factory in the building in 1930.
In 2007 developer Bart Connelly bought the building... and created space for a law firm.
Now the third floor is being converted into condos, bringing more housing to the downtown.
The renovations started last summer.
The condos will vary in price from about $100-150,000.
