Woodbury County Adds New Economic Development Tool
WOODBURY COUNTY, IA — The Woodbury County webpage will be seeing some big changes over the next few months. On Tuesday, the Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a measure to bring a video production company to Siouxland to help highlight what Woodbury County and its communities have to offer. The county's economic development director says the plan will help attract businesses to set up shop in the county. "CGI communications is a premiere member of the national association of counties. What they do is provide counties with free production for showcase videos, which allows us to highlight some of the amenities we have in Woodbury County at no cost," said David Gleiser of Woodbury County Economic Development. CGI is expected to begin filming early in the fall. Once completed, the videos will be posted on woodburyiowa.com.
