45th Annual Bill Diamond Antique Classic Car Show hits Siouxland

Over 100 people attended the 45th Annual Bill Diamond Antique and Classic Car Show.

Jaguar, corvettes and all kinds of vintage vehicles were at this event today.

The free event took place from noon to four this afternoon with music by Radio Personality Big Daddy from Classic Rock 99.5.

And not only going down the road but going back in time, about these classics the first car show started in 1970 at the Sioux City Public Museum site as part of a temporary event, but has since become a long-time tradition.

"People that have a classic vehicle that come down, show it off to the public. We raise a little bit of money for the museum historical association from our food tent behind you and just turns out to be a fun event for everybody," said Woody Gottburg of the Sioux City Museum and Historical Association.

This car show was part of the Show and Shine Car Show series.
