"Fridays on the Promenade" is changing locations due to construction
Sioux City, IA —
Because of construction, what was known as "Fridays on the Promenade" is changing locations, days and its name. The live shows have now been re-branded "Downtown Live."
That announcement was made this afternoon at the site of this year's concert series, the Sioux City Public Museum.
Downtown Partners CEO Ragen Cote explained the reason for this year's name change.
"We are pleased to announce this year we are going to be know as downtown live the reason for that is its no longer on Fridays and its no longer on the promenade. The promenade is getting new green space enhancements and so during their construction we will be outside here at the Sioux City Pubic Museum in their lawn."
In addition to the music, there will be 6 food trucks on hand for visitors. The cost of admission to the shows is three dollars.
