Goodwill opens "Outlet Center"

APRIL 19, 2017: Sioux City's main Goodwill store on West Fourth Street has a new shopping option.

It's called the "Outlet Center".

It's located next door to the main store on West 4th and allows shoppers to buy clothing and some household items by the pound instead of pricing them individually.

"We call it an outlet store because it is one point between what is not sold in our stores and what would become recycled. It's an opportunity for the public to come get some thing at a reduced price and it keeps things from out of the landfill so it's a win win. It's good for the public, it's good for Goodwill, it's good for the environment," said President and CEO of Goodwill of the Great Plains, John Hantla.

The outlet store will be open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.
