Inside New Mercy Child Advocacy Center
SIOUX CITY, IA —
Mercy's Child Advocacy Center celebrated the opening of the brand new building earlier Thursday.
After 10 months of construction... the $3 building was finally unveiled. Visitors had the opportunity to take a tour and speak with the donors.
Center manager Barbara Small described just how rewarding her job is.
“The most rewarding part of working in this area I guess is knowing you made a difference in someone’s life and a child's life and that you're helping a family become healthy again."
The new center was paid for entirely by donations.
The building allows for 3 patients to be seen at a time and maintains complete confidentiality for the child and the family.
