A Siouxland organization is a semi finalist for Jimmie Johnson Foundation's Blue Bunny Helmet of Hope Grant.

The Mary J Tegalia Community House is one of ten semi-finalists which makes them eligible for a $25,000 grant.

Mary J Treglia community house helps connect students and families to education and serve over 3,000 families each year.

An online vote is taking place until May 11th to determine the five grant winners.

"This would just allow us to get back on our feet, we provide certified teachers in every grade that work with the kids and it's about 100 hours of classroom time that the kids get so this would just ensure that we would be able to provide that for those kids this summer," said Camp Imagination Director Shannon Schroeder.

The organization could use as many votes as possible.
