Omaha man found guilty of homicide by vehicle after Sioux City crash
SIOUX CITY, Ia —
He plowed into a retaining wall on Sioux City's Westside last fall while trying to elude police, killing a passenger.
Now an Omaha man has been found guilty of various charges, including homicide by vehicle.
Jerell Wilson was behind the wheel when police tried to stop him last November at 4:00 in the morning.
He eventually crashed into a retaining wall at West Third and Ross.
His passenger, 38-year-old Djuan Beverly, was killed.
Officers also found dozens of bags of marijuana inside the outside the car.
Wilson faces up to 15 years in prison
