Randolph, NE mayor in court for child sexual abuse charges
HARTINGTON, Ne —
A northeast Nebraska mayor accused of abusing a child made his first court appearance today.
61-year-old Dwayne Schutt is charged with four counts of child sexual abuse and one count of intentional child abuse.
He's been the mayor of Randolph since 2011.
Outside of the courtroom, we spoke with one of the victim's classmates about the case.

A preliminary hearing is set to take place August 30th at 11:00 A.M.
