Saturday in the Park brings big crowd to Siouxland
Sioux City, IA —
It's an annual summer tradition in Siouxland and the weather couldn't have been better for Saturday in the Park.
The festival which started in 1991 brings live musical acts, a variety of foods and entertainment to Grandview Park.
The free event featured 16 performances on two stages in the park.
"This is fantastic it's really close to my house I was able to walk here it's really better than advertised even. I didn't know what to expect this is the first time I've ever had the chance to come here I'm definitely going to come back in the future there is so much to go on for your families to enjoy. Great food, great music, great activities for the kids. Absolutely 100 percent endorse it," said Steve Friend.
The night ended with Jose Stone performing and a fireworks display.
