Sioux City Ford puts on special fundraiser for Sioux City Knights

The test drive fundraiser was held in an effort to raise funds for special olympics.

This event was held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the North Middle School parking lot which allowed attendees to drive any new Ford vehicle. For each drive a $30 donation was made from Sioux City Ford and Lincoln Motor Company.

"As a locally owned business it's really important to invest in our community and the special olympics is a great organization and we wanted to partner to be able to help them raise a good amount of money in one day but also offer an opportunity where someone can come drive a new vehicle just for fun," said Sam Burrish of Sioux City Ford Lincoln.

All donations will stay locally to support the Special Olympic Athletes.
