Two arrested after shooting in Walmart parking lot

Police have arrested two people in connection with an early morning shooting at a Walmart last Thursday.

According to court documents, on March 9th, just after 3:00 a.m., Luis Lira, 22, and Kelsey Kritzer, 23, were in the parking lot of Walmart on 3400 Singing Hills Blvd.

The pair were at Walmart to meet and collect money and drugs from another person.

When that person arrived at the meeting location, Lira was instructed by Kritzer to get the money.

Lira approached the passenger side of the victims vehicle and demanded the money and drugs while displaying a pistol.

The victim then sped away and Lira shot at the vehicle's rear window.

The bullet passed through the window and struck the victim in the back of the right shoulder, causing bodily injury.

The name of the victim is not being released.

Luis Lira is being held in the Woodbury County Jail on a $300,000 bond and charged with possession of drugs, reckless use of firearm robbery 1st.

Kritzer is being held on a $100,000 bond and charged with robbery 1st degree.

They are both expected in court on March 27th.
