Two men facing charges for "marijuana resort" in South Dakota
Two men are facing charges in connection with efforts to establish a "marijuana resort" on the Flandreau Santee Sioux Reservation last year.
A Moody County grand jury indicted 34-year-old Eric Hagen of Sioux Falls on charges of conspiracy to possess more than 10 pounds of marijuana, possession of more than 10 pounds of marijuana, and attempted possession of more than 10 pounds of marijuana.
43-year-old Jonathan Hunt of Colorado was charged with conspiracy to possess marijuana.
Hunt and Hagen are consultants, who helped the tribe acquire marijuana seeds for a crop that was later destroyed.
