Siouxland's Most Wanted: 500 Captures
A major milestone tonight on Siouxland's Most Wanted as we've officially captured our 500th wanted fugitive.
Jennie Kazena was featured on Monday, wanted by the Marshals for violating her probation after a federal drug crime conviction.
Marshals tell us she was arrested outside a house on Sioux City's near north side last night after receiving a tip.
The head of the Marshals' Northwest Iowa Fugitive Task Force says this milestone would never have been reached without the help of Most Wanted viewers.
"We can't do our job without public support. And you know, criminals are really only 1% of our population or less, so we're lucky we have another 99%, a lot of people out there who have eyes and ears to the ground force, they watch the program every week, they read it in the paper every week and they keep up on it and they keep their eyes open for these folks," said U.S. Marshal Chad McCormick.
You can catch a new edition of Siouxland's Most Wanted every Monday night on Siouxland News at 9 on FOX 44 and Siouxland News at 10 on KMEG 14.
