Chris was born and raised in Plattsburgh, NY and graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh (Go Cardinals!).
In 2008 Chris got his start in broadcasting at KHGI in Kearney, Nebraska as an assistant producer and reporter. It's also where he saw his first tornado.
He was the play-by-play voice of the USHL's Tri-City Storm. In 2009 he became the weekend sports anchor at KOTA in Rapid City, South Dakota, where he covered sports and news. Most recently he was a photojournalist at WGHP in High Point, North Carolina, where his favorite moments came when he had a chance to interview Tim Tebow, Joel Ostein, and the daughter of one of his childhood idol's, the late sportscaster Stewart Scott.
As a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan, Chris is pumped to be covering sports in the town where Fred Jackson used to star as a member of the Sioux City Bandits. On the weekends you can catch Chris rooting on his Bills, as well as the Buffalo Sabres, New York Yankees and New York Knicks. He's also never met a karaoke microphone he didn't like. Chris is the new Sports Director and joined the Siouxland News team in May of 2015.
