Jetske Wauran is excited to be the weekend anchor for KMEG 14 and FOX 44. She reports, shoots and edits her own stories. A 2014 graduate from the University of La Verne, Jetske received a Bachelors of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism.
Jetske was born and raised in Anaheim, California in a bilingual household. She speaks English and Indonesian. Before her move to the Midwest, she interned for KTLA 5 Morning News in Los Angeles and has worked behind-the-scenes at the Critics Choice Television Awards.
When asked about what drew her to news reporting, she said she loved being able to wake up every day not knowing what the day will bring, but know that it will be interesting and that behind every person, there is a story to tell.
When she's not reporting the news, Jetske is most likely running outdoors, playing guitar or getting acquainted with the Midwest.
