Nick Popham is a multimedia journalist for KMEG 14 and FOX 44 and is extremely excited to join the Siouxland News team! Nick grew up near Pasadena, CA in a town called Altadena. He graduated from California State University, Northridge in December of 2015 with a B.A. in Journalism with an emphasis in broadcasting.
During his time in school, Nick got the chance to do a couple of great internships. The first internship was with CBS News in New York City, where he worked and researched stories for producers at 60 Minutes for their 48th season. The other internship was back in Los Angeles with FOX Sports Radio.
Another fun fact about Nick is that he was a competitive public speaker in college, making it to the national tournament for speech and debate two years in a row. While at nationals, he was one of sixteen people in the country selected as an All-American, someone who excelled in competitive speech, community service, and academics.
