TOTT - Sioux City Polar Plunge
SIOUXLAND NEWS —
Special Olympics Iowa will be holding a fundraiser to help continue to provide year-round sports training and competition to over 14,000 athletes in Iowa with intellectual disabilities.
The event will take place on October 28, 2017 at Brown's Lake near Salix, Iowa.
There is a $25 fundraising minimum, and all participants will get a t-shirt the day of the event.
The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations and businesses to support Special Olympics Iowa athletes by taking a cold dip in the frigid waters of Brown's Lake.
There will also be a post-party after the plunge for plungers to get warm while enjoying food, drinks, music and prize drawings.
The event is open to public.
All spectators are welcome free of charge.
