TOTT - Special Olympics Iowa

Special Olympics Iowa will be sending a four-person unified bowling team to Seattle to compete in the 2018 Special Olympic USA Games.

The USA Games kick off with the spectacle of the Opening Ceremony at Husky Stadium on July 1, 2018.

It will offer 14 Olympics-type sports which include, athletics (track and field), basketball, bocce, bowling, flag football, golf, gymnastics, powerlifting, soccer, softball, stand-up paddle boarding, swimming, tennis and volleyball.

There are more than 4,000 athletes that will be competing in Seattle this summer, with 34 of those athletes representing Team Iowa.

All of the coaches are volunteers and the athletes pay nothing to participate, with all of their expenses being paid for by donations and fundraisers.

Awesome Biker Nights, happening June 14th - 16th in Sioux City, will be donating a portion of the proceeds toward this endeavor.
