Baconfest Coming to Sioux City

Who doesn't love bacon? On Monday, tickets went on sale at the Hamilton Boulevard Hy-Vee for Sioux City's First Annual Pig Skin Frenzy Baconfest. The Siouxland Habitat for Humanity will partner with Americans for Prosperity in order to raise money for local families in need. "We're excited to announce the first Baconfest coming to Sioux City. It'll be a street festival down on Pearl Street with live music, college football games on TV, and of course, a celebration of bacon. So, local chefs will provide great good, great drinks and a lot of fun. And best of all, we're raising money for Siouxland Habitat for Humanity's mission," said Katie Roberts of Siouxland Habitat for Humanity. The event takes place on October 11th, at 5th and Pearl, from 11 am-6 pm. All proceeds go to Siouxland Habitat for Humanity.
