Hard Rock Hotel and Casino prepares for Battery Park concerts with added security

Going on its fourth year, Battery Park's summer concert series is just a couple months away.

"And always focusing on the guest experiences," said Brad Streeter, entertainment manager.

And there are some big changes. This year, Siouxland News has partnered up with the casino, making us the main sponsors for the summer long event.

"Very excited to have this partnership this year. Battery Park's in its fourth year and it continually grows every year, so we're excited to be partners with these stations," said Streeter.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino's entertainment manager Brad Streeter says while they guarantee the best entertainment experience for customers, their top priority is keeping everyone safe. Added security will play a chief role at all of the concerts this year.

"We're increasing our metal walk through detections, our security presence, like I said everybody's wanting to come have fun but be safe at the same time," said Streeter.

And while security will be heightened, Streeter says, he hopes guests will also have an enjoyable time.

"You know security at concert events is a very hot topic in the music industry right now so we're doing everything we can to prevent any kind of incidents yet still give the guest experience the best they possibly can. And we're always going to try to be on the cutting edge of that and be the front runners of that," said Streeter.

Battery Park concerts kick off May 4th and runs through September.

The entertainment line-up will be announced tomorrow starting at 5 p.m. and we'll be live- streaming the entire event on our Facebook page.
