NORFOLK, Neb. -- Law enforcement in Norfolk is still investigating a shooting south of that city Sunday that sent one man to the hospital.
They say they have the suspected shooter in custody, but are still seeking more information about the case.
25-year-old Jamie Rodriguez is charged with first-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony. The Madison County Sheriff's Office says she shot a 23-year-old man south of Norfolk on Sunday, February 3rd.
The man, so far unidentified, was taken to Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk and later transferred to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha for treatment. His current condition is unknown.
The Sheriff's Office, along with the Norfolk Police Division, are asking anyone with information to come forward and speak with investigators.
