$935,000 grant awarded to Arnold's Park for renovation projects
A project to revive a historic landmark of the Iowa Great Lakes is moving forward with some help from the state tonight.
The Arnold's Park Restoration Project received a $935,000 dollar Community Attraction and Tourism grant from the Enhance Iowa Board this morning.
That money will go towards the renovation of the Majestic Pavilion at Arnold's Park as well as some infrastructure improvements to the park and the building of a new Roof Garden.
The total cost of that project is estimated at over $10 million dollars.
