Authorities asking for cell phone records of victim following hotel room murder

Prosecutors are seeking Bockholt's phone records for the last month to try and determine when she first contacted Henry after his release from prison on January 16th.

We're learning more about the victim killed in a local hotel room that was set on fire last week.

Prosecutors now say she had a previous relationship with the man they claim killed her.

29-year-old Jordan Henry is charged with first degree murder and first degree arson in the death of 40-year-old Elizabeth Bockholt of Hinton.

Police say he strangled her in a room he was renting at the Wingate by Wyndham Hotel in Sioux City and then set the room on fire.

Prosecutors are seeking Bockholt's phone records for the last month to try and determine when she first contacted Henry after his release from prison on January 16th.

The document says Police investigators determined the two were dating before Henry was sent to prison for violating his probation in March of 2017.

They hope her phone records can shed light on their relationship at the time of her death.
