UPDATE 5:00: Things are back to normal in Siouxland after a harrowing two hours for the Woodbury County Sheriff's Office, as they searched the county for a bank robber.

The search began after a call from the United Bank of Iowa in Moville shortly after noon Friday when a man entered the bank and demanded cash.

Deputies say as a result, the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Woodbury County sheriff deputies responded immediately and worked closely with the Moville police department.

"No weapon was displayed he just came in and demanded that they place all the 100's and 50's and money into a bag," said Lieutenant Todd Trobaugh.

A small black car was seen leaving the bank after the robbery, that car was stolen from Polk County, with officers using the plates to track the vehicle.

The Iowa State Patrol found the vehicle near the Port Neal area about an hour later and a short pursuit began.

That car was first located at 260th street with a flat tire, authorities told the suspect to stay put but instead he fled.

That lead to a chase which reached speeds of nearly ninety mile per hour.

A short time later the suspect lost control of the vehicle after hitting the railroad tracks near old highway seventy five.

The suspect was then pulled from the car and taken to Mercy Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.

"Estimated, I would say there were at least 10 deputies that were working it, there were DOT officers, there were Iowa State Patrol Troopers, and also the Iowa State Patrol airplane just happened to be in Cherokee and was making his way this way. Now, he wasn't involved in anything but he was coming to assist. Everyone wants to do the best for this community and it doesn't matter what color uniform you're wearing, we all come together to try and catch this guy," said Major Todd Wingert.

Authorities tell us the man in the accident matches the suspect who robbed the Movile bank and they will now be obtaining search warrants to search the car for any additional evidence.

We will continue to follow this story as it continues to evolves.

UPDATE 2:30: Authorities have located the suspect in the bank robbery.
