Cherokee man wins lottery three times in two years

For the third time in two years a northwest Iowa man has claimed a $30,000 lottery prize.

On Monday, Clark Voge of Cherokee claimed the sixth of 19 top prizes of $30,000 available in the Iowa Lottery’s “Jolly Holiday Crossword” scratch game.

Voge is no stranger to winning big lottery prizes.

He also claimed $30,000 prizes in both March 2016 and April 2016 playing the lottery’s popular $3 “Bonus Crossword” scratch game.

Voge bought his most recent winning ticket at Kimmes Cherokee Country Store, 820 S. Second St. in Cherokee.

His previous two winning tickets were purchased at Sparky’s, 110 E. Bluff St. in Cherokee.

The Jolly Holiday Crossword scratch game is one of 11 holiday tickets that can be entered online or via our new mobile app in the “Secret Santa” Play It Again® promotion from now through 8:59 a.m. Dec. 28 for a chance to win cash prizes.
