Diaper dashers raise money for women's health center
At Crystal Cove Park more than a hundred people laced up their shoes and made their way annual Diaper Dash in South Sioux Saturday morning.
Hosted by Her Health Women's Center, the dash is an opportunity for community members and supporters to participate in a family fun/run/walk around Crystal Cove Park. This event raises money for the center which helps empower women and their partners facing unintended pregnancies with information and care.
"It matters that they're part of it and also that we get the message out that we want to be the first best option for women in Siouxland facing unintended pregnancies," said the president of the organization, Bryan Newswander.
There was also a Chick-Fil-A cow cheering on the diaper dashers and giving away free breakfast biscuits. The Diaper Dash is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the organization.
