Former Tribal Vice Chairman is sentenced for role in scheme to defraud WinnaVegas
Another former member of the Winnebago Tribal Council has been sentenced in Federal court for their role in a scheme to take extra money from the WinnaVegas Casino in Sloan.
Former Tribal Vice Chairman, Darwin Snyder, was sentenced last week to five years’ probation, and 150 hours of community service.
That's for a single count of "theft from an Indian gaming establishment." He must also repay the $36,500 he received as part of the scheme.
