Fun for all ages at Family Fun Night
From bounce houses to shooting hoops with police, it was a night of family fun activities at the Long Lines Family Rec Center this evening.
More than a thousand people gathered for the Neighborhood Network's free Family Fun Night, featuring table games, bean bag toss, educational booths, a free climbing wall and free snacks for everyone.
"My favorite thing is the bouncy house because I like it so much. It's so fun," said Willow Hogancamp.
"If we all work together, we can all live in a better neighborhood without moving that's our motto. But it helps when we have issues in the neighborhood we can report those to our police officers, they can work to solve those so that they don't become big issues. So we all can reduce crime, we can all live in a better neighborhood by doing that," said organizer Rick Arnold.
Event organizers also say this is a perfect opportunity for the community to get to know their local law enforcement.
