UPDATE: Man killed in grain bin accident identified
UPDATE 7/18 The Plymouth County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the man who was killed in the grain bin accident Tuesday night.
Lee E. Grage, 65 of Remsen was identified as the man found deceased after being recovered by local firefighters in a grain bin on his farm.
UPDATE: One person is dead after a grain bin accident near Remsen, IA.
Tuesday night at around 7:20 PM, the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office got a call of a person stuck in a grain bin at 44787 230th St., south of Remsen, just off Highway 140.
KLEM Radio's Dennis Morrice reports one person was taken by Kingsley ambulance to the hospital in Cherokee.
Mercy Aircare was there, too.
The Plymouth County Sheriff's Office later confirmed that a rescue was attempted, but a person was also found dead inside a grain bin.
The deceased person's name isn't being released, yet.

Mercy Aircare was on the scene and it appeared crews were continuing to work at the site.
It is unclear if anyone was else was injured.
