Inland Sea hold investor meeting for new salmon farming plant
A company planning to build a salmon farming facility near Harlan brought its pitch to Sioux City this afternoon.
Inland Sea Harlan is trying to raise $12 million from investors to get its facility up and running.
This afternoon, it held a meeting for potential investors at the Stoney Creek Inn.
"We think it would be foolish of us not to offer this investment opportunity to everyone in the community as well as some of the investor bankers. This gives us all a sense of community when we put a project like this together that everyone has option and an opportunity to work with us," said COO of Inland Sea, Peder Hansen.
The Sioux City meeting was the third of six planned meetings across the state for Inland Sea.
