Kids visit Watchorn Family holiday lights display in Ponca, Neb.

The Watchorn's display, which began 15 years ago, includes more than 100,000 lights and takes nearly 3 months to install.

Nearly one hundred kids visited Ponca's most popular Christmas Light Display.

Gene Watchorn and his partner Julie McDowell won a national contest and received $50,000 dollars from the competition.

Friday, they showed off their award winning display to children from Jackson Elementary school.

"This is what we are about, its the kids. Yesterday we had some children out and one of them said you were in my TV. How much better can you get than that," Julie told us.

The Watchorn's display, which began 15 years ago, includes more than 100,000 lights and takes nearly 3 months to install.

If you want to see them for yourself, they offer open houses from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. each Friday, Saturday and Sunday from now until Christmas.
